Text Messaging Terms & Privacy

ActiveCare Business IT Services, LLC (ActiveCare IT) offers one-to-one text conversations with our employees using their company phone numbers. These conversations help us coordinate IT support, scheduling, projects, and follow-up with our customers and business contacts.

Your choice to receive texts

Before an employee starts texting you, we ask for your permission during a phone call or in person. We explain the purpose of the messages and ask:

“May ActiveCare IT text you at this number about your IT support request, scheduling, or project? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Our SMS terms and privacy information are at www.activecareit.com/sms-terms-and-privacy. Mobile opt-in information will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Do you agree?”

We record your answer, number, date, and the purpose you agreed to. You can choose another way to communicate with us. Agreeing to texts is optional and is not a condition of receiving our services.

Message frequency and costs

Message frequency varies with your conversations and support needs. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile carrier's plan. This service is for employee conversations; we do not use it for marketing campaigns, mass texts, or automated alerts.

Stop, resume, or get help

Reply STOP to stop texts from the employee number you are messaging. You will receive an opt-out confirmation. You can reply START to that same number to resume. Opting out applies to that employee's number; it does not automatically unsubscribe you from conversations with other employee numbers.

SMS privacy

We use your mobile number, messages, and consent information to communicate with you, provide support, and manage your texting preferences. Microsoft, mobile carriers, and service providers involved in delivering or supporting these conversations may process that information for those purposes.

Mobile opt-in information will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional use. We may disclose information when required by law.
