ActiveCare IT

What the project delivered

  • Opening readiness: Technology deployment completed ahead of schedule and under budget.

  • Working systems: End-user devices, network and Wi-Fi, and guest-service workflows prepared for opening.

  • A clear handoff: Testing, labeling, documentation, and daily status updates supported the transition to operations.

Project at a glance

Client: Tahoe Donner Association
Location: Truckee, California
Delivery window: November 24–28 and December 1–5, 2025, coordinated with construction readiness.

“ActiveCare IT came in with a tight timeline and a lot of moving pieces. They executed calmly, communicated daily, and helped us get the lodge ready to open—under budget and ahead of schedule.”

The challenge

Tahoe Donner had a narrow window between construction completion and opening. Winter weather, holiday schedules, and other IT projects added pressure to the deployment.

The approach

  • Prepare ahead: Stage and standardize devices before onsite deployment.

  • Coordinate the work: Run end-user, network, and documentation tasks in parallel as construction areas became available.

  • Keep decisions moving: Share daily progress, blockers, next steps, and punch-list updates through reporting dashboards and team discussions.

“We didn’t have to chase status. The real-time project data and daily huddles made it easy to make decisions quickly and keep everything moving.”

From installation to opening readiness

ActiveCare IT deployed and checked the devices used for guest services, rentals, ticketing, and back-office work. Network and Wi-Fi validation, cable checks, labeling, and an as-built documentation package supported the handoff.

A smoother opening

The project finished ahead of schedule and under budget. Updated ticketing and rental systems supported guest flow, while daily reporting kept leadership informed throughout delivery.
